Light winds characterised the last qualification regatta for the Italian Opitmist National Championship. More than 80 junior Optis compete to qualify, but just the top twelve are selected for the event.

Diego Napolitano from STV, was one of the lucky twelve to qualify for the Nationals after the club?s sailors have missed out on the opportunity for the past few years. He was this year’s lucky sailor who succeeded in qualifying by finishing within the first 12 places. Congratulation Diego!
