The group training was held between 2-4 of May and organized for the Optimist Juniores athletes of the XIII Zone that did not qualify for the first round of the Italian National Selection of Crotone which was held on the same weekend.

Main objectives to achieve at the training ware:
• To give a chance to young sailors from the XIII Zone to made a good training even their club coaches are abroad,
• to increase the average level of athletes with a target work.

Under the coordination of CTZ Marinella Gorgatto and the support of Luka Verzel and Sandi Dekleva 30 athletes took part in the training. The two and a half days of work have been addressed with particular attention to all the preparatory stages of the race, boat settings and approach to the start of the regatta.
